Some call into question the keynote speaker.

The Mayors Prayer breakfast is not, contrary to popular belief, the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast.  

The city of Santa Clarita and Mayor Marsha McLean do not sponsor the event; however, the Mayor is planning on being there.  

Recently, some recent online statements are calling on the Mayor not to attend the event, due to the Daily News report that keynote speaker Ralph Drollinger made insensitive comments about women legislators and Catholicism.

The author of the statement has set up an online petition that asks the Mayor not to attend, however, as of today, she was still planning on going.

The prayer breakfast will be held tomorrow.
