Congressman Buck McKeon will host a Service Academy information night at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at College of the Canyons.

The event will be held in Room 258 of the college’s University Center.

This information gathering opportunity is open to all young men and women between the ages of 17 and 21 who reside in California’s 25^th Congressional District and hope to secure a nomination from McKeon to one of the five military service academies.

Representatives from McKeon’s office, as well as representatives from the Military (Army), Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine academies will be available to answer questions pertaining to nominations and the application process.

Junior, sophomore and freshman high school students preparing for the application process are also encouraged to attend.
