Renata’s body was found three days later in the Angeles National Forest. The coroner determined her cause of death to be asphyxiation at the hands of another.
The Jeep was found abandoned behind an empty bar building in North Las Vegas, with the keys inside. Blood found in the back seat was determined to be other than human and detectives surmised that the dog had been killed.
