A Newhall boy that went missing from Thursday through Sunday has returned home safely. On Thursday, he had failed to show up after a basketball game and his father filed a missing persons report with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station.

Hart High student Ali Hajimohamed, 14, was nowhere to be found when his father, Aziz, went to pick him up after the game.

Sheriff’s officials said he had run away on at least one previous occasion.
