After three days of searching, Laura Lynne Stacy was discovered near her car in Lancaster, on Wednesday .

Stacy is currently being transported to an area hospital for medical treatment due to concerns about exposure.
The investigation took a turn when a Santa Clarita Valley resident found a cellphone at Golden Valley Park. They then contacted Laura Lynne Stacy’s family who directed them to LAPD.
Stacy was last seen on January 22, 2017, in the 3600 block of Barham Blvd in the City of Los Angeles. She was driving a 2005 black Acura TL with a Colorado license plate number of 597WFD, according to LAPD officials.
Her black Acura TL was discovered abandoned near 110th St East/Ave E in Lancaster Tuesday night, The car was locked and deputies noted nothing suspicious about the vehicle or the scene.
LAPD officers in conjunction with Lancaster sheriff station deputies are conducting an approximately one square mile search of the area with the aid of off-road vehicles, search dogs, off-duty volunteers, and helicopters, according to Detective Tim O’Quinn from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Homicide Divison.
It is unknown to officials at this time if Stacy would even still be in the area as she could have flagged down a ride or been taken elsewhere, according to O’Quinn.
O’Quinn confirmed there have been a few reported sightings of Stacy between Sunday morning and Monday afternoon that deputies are still investigating.

She stands 5 feet and 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She is believed to have last been seen wearing a dark hooded jacket.
