Missing Santa Monica Senior Subject Of Massive Search

khts_crime_genericA 77-year old man from Santa Monica is the subject of a massive search and rescue effort underway in the Warm Springs area near Lake Hughes Road.

Lt. Mark Hershey said that the man is a resident of Santa Monica and that his wife reported him missing on June 29. He left their home on the 28th, and his car was found in the Warm Springs area on Friday night. He is described as being in pretty good shape and a regular hiker.

 

19 searchers from three teams – Santa Clarita, Antelope Valley and Sierra Madre Search and Rescue – are participating in the search, using eight dogs.
