Mitchell School Helping Children Affected by Hurricane Katrina

Mitchell Community School is reaching out to help the children affected by Hurricane Katrina. We’re working with the "Kids Need to Be Kids Campaign" supported by Kappa Delta, in which new toys, books and games are being collected for youth organizations like the Boys and Girls Club and church groups within the hurricane area. Mitchell students invite the community to join in. You can help us by dropping off any new toy, book, or game in our collection boxes in the school office.  This is a wonderful way for children to help other children.  If you want to help and need more information, please call the Mitchell Office at 252-9110.
