Established in the Santa Clarita Valley in 2001 by Dr. Ronald Singer, Molar Manor’s ‘A Haunted Collection’ was open only two days per year to benefit local charities.  The new owners, Denise Larson Kevitt and Ralph Esacoff, intend  to continue the tradition of charity events but have plans to extend the hours of operation to a year ‘round calendar.

 

Operating under the name of ‘House of the Dancing Dead,’ Molar Manor will offer direct access to the Haunted Collection through a 50+ seating room designed for birthday, anniversary, corporate, holiday, and special event gatherings. The House of the Dancing Dead will also be available for fundraising possibilities, film & television production, and public tours during the entire Halloween season.

An unexpected move to Canyon Country in August from a 4600 sq. ft. facility to a 9000 sq. ft. facility has turned the Haunted Collection into a major haunted attraction.  To meet the September 30th opening day deadline, dozens of wonderful people and businesses in and around the community have been overly generous donating time, energy, and services to put the Haunted Collection back together. 

The corridors, pathways, animatronics, pneumatics, graveyard, and junkyard all need to be carefully designed and dressed to create an experience for all to enjoy.

 

The House of the Dancing Dead will be open for the entire Halloween Season, Thursday—Sunday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons for “lights on” matinees for the younger and the not-so-willing crowd.  General Admission is  $15.  For the impatient types, a Faster Pass is available for $20.  Actual haunt times are yet to be determined.
