Morris Fire Smoke Blankets SCV

Residents of Santa Clarita may notice thick white smoke in the area for the next couple of days. This smoke is not the result of any brush fires in the Santa Clarita Valley but is being carried into our valley from the Morris Fire which is burning in the San Gabriel Canyon area of the Angeles National Forrest near Azusa.

KHTS reminds your that a Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service because of high temperatures and single-digit humidity expected throughout the Southland through Friday. Residents of the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys can expect hot and dry conditions with triple digits forecasted.
