A van carrying cast and crew members on a film shoot in Mystery Mesa rolled off the road and overturned Monday, injuring three passengers.
According to CHP Officer John Lutz, Nathan Hardcastle, 37, of Los Angeles, was driving a 2010 Ford 15-passenger van along a dirt trail on the movie ranch in Vasquez Canyon about 1 p.m.
As he descended the steep, winding, uneven road, Hardcastle lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the trail and overturned, landing on its roof.

Three of the 14 occupants of the van received minor injuries; one passenger was airlifted and two were transported by ambulance; all were taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. According to the CHP, no immediately recognizable talent were among those involved in the crash.
