If you’re a musician and would like to show off your talents, the Santa Clarita Art Walk wants you to play from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 1.
“We are encouraging anyone who can play the guitar, the fiddle or anything to come down and play music,” said Jeff Barber, Arts and Events Supervisor for the City of Santa Clarita. “There will be music all over the place. There will be everything from classical Spanish guitars to jug bands”.
For the last seven months, the Santa Clarita Art Walk has been providing visitors with a relaxing way to view art on Main Street in Newhall.
Local stores host pieces of art and visitors can stroll along from store to store viewing pieces of art. Store owners will also offer snacks to attendees.
The Art Walk also features the farmers market so residents can scope out art, listen to music and get their groceries
Art Walks are on the first Thursday of every month from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Main Street in Newhall.
