My Santa Clarita is the Santa Clarita Valley's #1 independent website in terms of page views per unique visitors for the three-month period from December 2006 through February 2007.
This is according to statistics provided by Alexa.com, Amazon.com's industry-leading website with an unparalleled database of information about websites that includes traffic statistics, related links and more. The page-view stats for these and any other websites may be verified by anyone by visiting Alexa.com.

As the metrics show, only the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce website, operated by the non-profit organization, is "stickier," which means visitors "stick" around longer than they might at other sites.
While The Signal newspaper generates the most overall traffic of any site in the SCV, its page-view-per-visitor count indicates visitors don't stay long.
"If anyone needed any reason to advertise on MySantaClarita.com, it's clear by looking at these numbers," said Robert M. Gardner, the site's owner and executive producer.
"As a business owner, I would also want to have the largest opportunity to promote my business, and the more pages someone reads on My Santa Clarita, the more effectively you can advertise your business and convert views into sales," Gardner added.
Gardner, founder of Valencia-based Santa Clarita Web Services (eSCV, Inc.), now the SCV's premier web development company, launched My Santa Clarita in July 2004 as the company's flagship site, and began developing My Santa Clarita as an online resource for the fast-growing community.
My Santa Clarita, edited since mid-2006 by noted SCV journalist and photographer Stephen K. Peeples (a former features reporter with The Signal and website content editor for Warner Music Group), presents coverage of local news, arts, entertainment and events, plus Peeples' exclusive in-depth interviews with local newsmakers (including recent Q&As with Santa Clarita Mayor Marsha McLean, City Councilmembers Laurene Weste and TimBen Boydston, SCV Sheriff's Station Chief Anthony La Berge, and College of the Canyons Superintendent-President Dr. Dianne Van Hook).
My Santa Clarita also features local movie times and weather, plus the largest online business directory (with more than 8,200 entries) and the valley's largest online free classifieds (in partnership with Santa Clarita Free Classifieds).
My Santa Clarita now has more than 1,000 registered members.
"Our mission is to provide as many reasons as we can for people to visit My Santa Clarita, stay there for a while, and come back the next day, because there's always something fresh," Peeples said.
