[view:node_ad=5]Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has announced that the residents of Castaic and Val Verde will have their own County library this summer.

"In addition to books, computers and other educational materials, this vital project will provide young people with access to a central community facility for study and research," said Antonovich.

Located at 27971 Sloan Canyon Road in Castaic, the new library will feature a children's book collection, homework center, a teen space, internet and computer access, and dedicated reading areas.

To further assist students with their education, library staff will work closely with the William S. Hart and Castaic Union School Districts to provide students will school-related programs and curriculum-enhancing resources.
