The survey, which takes about 5 minutes to complete, will help the City’s Citizen Public Library Advisory Committee suggest programs and services based off local input for the Santa Clarita Public Library.

The 37-member committee has met once a month since December with City staff and an official from Library Systems and Services, the company set to operate the day-to-day tasks of the Valencia, Canyon Country and Newhall branches come July 1.

The Old Town Newhall Library, where construction crews recently began foundation work, will join the system next year when the two-story facility is finished.
