New Personal Safety Campaign Launched

Twice annually, the City, the Sheriffs department and L.A. County Fire will host special meetings in the four communities within the City, including Newhall, Valencia, Canyon Country and Saugus.  The community meetings will address issues related to crime and safety. The community meetings will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in April 2006 as follows: Tuesday, April 18 at Arroyo Seco Junior High School in Saugus, Wednesday, April 19 at the City Sports Complex (Santa Clarita Rooms A and B) in Canyon Country, Wednesday, April 26 at the Newhall Community Center; and Thursday, April 27 at City Hall, City Council Chambers, 23920 Valencia Boulevard, first floor. Each of the four meetings will include presentations by the City, the Sheriffs Department and L.A.
