New Sports Score Submission Feature Debuts

khts_sportsHometownstation.com now accepting score records for the Hometown Sports Report.

In Santa Clarita, sporting plays a key role in our lives. Youth sports are intensely popular, with teams playing soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, track, swimming and more. On top of that, club teams dart across Southern California and beyond playing their sports year-round.

It’s no wonder that our six local high schools have built a reputation for drafting solid teams across the board, year in and year out.

College of the Canyons has several state championships to look back on, and many local players even opt to play semi-professional sports for one of our local teams.

With so much going on, KHTS has launched a sports submittal form on hometownstation.com that will allow team coaches and parents to send in scores and highlight summaries to the KHTS Sports Department.

Tim Haddock will then use the scores in the Hometown Sports Report on hometownstation.com. Some scores may also be included in his on air broadcasts every Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

All sports levels are being accepted, including youth, club, high school, college, semi-pro and more.

The score submission form is in the Santa Clarita News drop down menu, under Hometown Sports. Scores can also be submitted by clicking here.

Coaches and parents will be allowed to submit scores as often as they see fit.
