Waller’s Gym Jam coach provided stunts for ABC Family series.
Wednesday afternoon, Wallers’ Gym Jam Academy played host to a special preview showing of a new ABC Family Channel series, “Make It or Break It.”
The show centers on a group of teen gymnastic athletes as they train and prepare for their chance to compete for a spot in the Olympics.
The setting for the preview was appropriate, because Wallers’ coach Natalie Padilla served as a stunt-double for the show.
Of course Olympic fever touches many of the students at Wallers Gym Jam academy, who receive gymnastic training from an introductory level all the way up to professional coaching. Owner Chris Waller was an Olympian in 1992, and he coached 2004 Olympic Silver medalist Mohini Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj has since joined the coaching ranks at Wallers’.
At the showing, series stars Josie Loren and Ayla Kell signed autographs for the Wallers’ students.
