Ten people were arrested Thursday afternoon when detectives served a search warrant at a house on the 25000 block of Fourl Road in Newhall.
Detectives arrived around 3 p.m. at the home and took four of the suspects into custody on suspicion of felonies, arresting six others for misdemeanor offenses. Because of continuing investigations, only two names of those arrested were released.
Tobey Yanca, 40, and Michael Pascoe, 20, both white males, claimed to be the primary residents of the house, which has been a frequent focus of drug activity.

Yanca and Pascoe were both arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin for sale and pharmaceuticals for sale and are each being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
Hershey said that a search of the house yielded more than 7,000 pills in six different varieties, a small quantity of heroin, along with packaging and paraphernalia. Because of the current activity and previous narcotic-related search warrants that have been served at that location in the past, the house is targeted for abatement, prompting close scrutiny by city code enforcement and building and safety officials.
