Newhall Structure Fire Quickly Contained, Damage Not Yet Known

A fire in an outbuilding broke out in Newhall Saturday night, causing unknown amount of damage.

The fire occured in a 50-by-20-foot shed or storage facility in the 22000 block of Oak Orchard Road in Newhall, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatched at 6:43 p.m. and fully contained it by 7:14 p.m.

There were no injuries and the cost of damage is still being assessed.
