Zonta Club of SCV recognizes women for their outstanding service

Local non-profits have until Feb. 1 to submit their nominations for the 2010 Women in Service Celebration sponsored by Zonta Club of SCV. The event honors outstanding women volunteers from throughout the community and is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, at Robinson Ranch clubhouse.

All nominees will be guests of Zonta at the brunch and will receive an award on behalf of their sponsoring organization. One outstanding volunteer will be selected to receive the Carmen Sarro Award for Community Service.

In addition to seeking nominations for honorees, Zonta is accepting reservations from friends and supporters of the nominees to attend the event. Brunch is $35 per person.  Reservations must be made by March 1.
