Last year’s Arthritis Walk raised over $60,000 to help support research in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis. It is estimated that arthritis affects nearly 35,000 people in the Santa Clarita Valley. Included in that figure are men, women and children.  Nationwide, 46 million Americans, including 300,000 children are living with the pain of arthritis. It is fundraising events like the ‘Arthritis Walk’ that provide the hope that one day, a cure will be found.

Cheri Fleming is the 2007 Walk Chair. She has a personal connection with this event as she too lives with arthritis. Don and Cheri Fleming are committed to doing everything they can to help find a cure for this debilitating disease.
