Carousel Ranch is a therapy-based program specializing in horseback therapy. Kids with various physical, cognitive and sensory disabilities benefit from this therapy – which is recognized by many medical professionals and therapists.

Approximately 90 kids per week benefit from the physical therapy they receive at Carousel Ranch. Three types of equestrian therapy are offered. Their programs include Vaulting (gymnastics on horseback), English and western riding. This therapy helps to improve strength, coordination and the rider’s self-esteem. The rider learns to face new challenges – which can help them physically and mentally producing favorable improvements in riders of all ages.

Carousel Ranch is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Nobody is turned away. Fees are based on ability to pay and Carousel Ranch strives to offer scholarship assistance to those in need. Donations and fundraising events allow Carousel Ranch to continue providing this unique therapy to kids of all ages. Your generosity is appreciated.

The 4th Annual How the West Was Won Trap Shoot to be held on Friday, April 27th. This event will be held in the morning at Oak Tree Gun Club, with good friends – raising money for the kids at Carousel Ranch. With each team or reservation, shooters will receive three rounds of trap, gun rental, ammunition, targets and a BBQ lunch with trophies and prizes.

Also, a new signature event chaired by Shelley Hann is the first ever Cowgirls & Crystals event to be held at Carousel Ranch. This event is just for the ladies so bring some friends & spend the day with at the ranch for an up-scale cowgirl experience. There will be a barbeque (catered by Salt Creek Grille), gourmet s’mores, line dancing and cocktails. Try your hand at learning to rope and even have the opportunity to have an “on-horse” experience.
