On April 18, 2011 we were pleased to welcome back our friends from the Child & Family Center to the KHTS Community Resource Station.

The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight is hosted by Janice Murray can be heard Mondays at 10am on AM-1220, KHTS.

Celebrating 34 Years, the Child and Family Center, is the only non-profit community mental health center in the Santa Clarita Valley. They continue to provide mental health, behavioral and educational services to children, adults and families living in Santa Clarita. These services include early intervention, school based and outpatient counseling, drug and alcohol treatment and group home services. Child & Family Center also believes in involving the family in the entire process – which promotes a healthy home environment for all.

Child & Family Center is proud to present their 23rd annual Taste of the Town, Sunday May 1st, 1-5pm. All monies raised will help support mental health services for children and families in Santa Clarita.

For one all inclusive ticket price, guests will stroll the grounds of the beautiful Mann Biomedical Park, sampling delicacies from forty restaurants, caterers, wine and beer purveyors. They are pleased to welcome back Mark LeVang & Friends – wowing the audience with fantastic entertainment! Bid on some great items in the fabulous silent auction.
