On July 17, 2007, KHTS was pleased to welcome back ‘Circle of Hope’ to the KHTS Community Resource Station. Founder, Colleen Schaffer and our own Sharon Bronson were featured on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight – hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by our friends at Valencia Acura .

Circle of Hope is the creation of Santa Clarita resident Colleen Schaffer. Colleen was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 1999. After a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation treatment, Colleen spent the next three years in remission. In 2002 her cancer returned and spread to her liver, spine and hips. She donned a pink wig, wings and the ‘Angel of Hope’ was born. In 2004 Colleen started Circle of Hope.

Circle of Hope is a 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit organization and depends on donations and sponsorships that make it possible to provide financial and emotional support to those breast cancer patients that truly need it most.

Their 4th Annual Theatrical Tea takes place on September 29 & 30th. From silent auction to raffles, and magician to singers, the teas give you an opportunity to have fun and donate to your hometown charity.

We want to thank Colleen and Sharon for spending time with us at the KHTS Community Resource Station. You can visit Circle of Hope on the web at www.circleofhopeinc.org or call (661) 254-5218.
