KHTS welcomed the SCV Senior Center to the KHTS Community Resource Station on February 14, 2011. We featured Kathy Crone on the KHTS Non Profit Spotlight.

The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight, sponsored by Castaic Lake Water Agency, airs Mondays at 10AM on AM-1220 KHTS and is  hosted by Janice Murray .

The mission of the Santa Clarita Valley Center is to help keep seniors independent and dignified, in their own homes, for as long as possible.  To help achieve this they provide Home-Delivered Meals, a Handyworker program, and more.

The Santa Clarita Valley Committee on Aging is a charitable, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that primarily serves the needs of 35,000 senior citizens and functionally impaired adults in the North Los Angles County and the surrounding unincorporated areas of the Fifth Supervisory District. Doing business as the “Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center,” the organization also provides vital services and opportunities for everyone on the aging continuum.

On February 26, 2011 The Celebrity Waiter Dinner will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Valencia.
