On November 21, 2011, we welcomed the Santa Clarita Sheriffs Department to the KHTS Non Profit Spotlight to talk about the 2010 Sheriff’s Community Toy Drive.

The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight – hosted by Janice Murray is heard every Monday at 10 am on AM-1220 KHTS.

The Community Wide Toy Drive is a made possible with the help of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Department, the generous support of sponsors and the hard work by Deputy Regina Yost and Sgt. Gregg Lewison and volunteers – who work many hours to put the toy store together so that families who are struggling can buy holiday gifts for their children in a shop-like setting and have them wrapped for the holidays.

Donations will be accepted through December 19th at the SCV Sheriff’s Station, Power Honda, KHTS or anywhere you see a Sheriff’s Toy Drive donation box.
