On September 17, 2007, the KHTS Community Resource Station hosted Zonta of Santa Clarita. They were featured on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight, hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by Valencia Acura .

The Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley is a women’s service organization in its 33rd year of service to this community and the world. They have over 60 members who are business and professional women in a variety of businesses. Their dinner/ business meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at IHOP Restaurant,
24737 Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch.

Their main goal is to improve the lives of women through service, advocacy and awareness. Zonta International seeks to provide service at the global and local level, improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women.

The Zonta Club of SCV is proud to sponsor the 6th Annual Healthy Woman’s Day in conjunction with the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center. Santa Clarita Valley women who are uninsured or underinsured can receive a free woman’s health screening on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Boys and Girls Club in Newhall. Women interested in participating can call (661) 257-2339 for appointments.
