Northbound I-5 Reopened After Crash Diversion

In addition, there is a hazmat situation with corrosive liquid spilled that is dangerous to inhale or touch. The cleanup process is underway.

The CHP reports that there were nine vehicles and one big rig involved in the accident, which resulted in multiple injuries. Air ambulances from both Los Angeles and Ventura County helped get the injured to area hospitals.
