Adrian Arriano facing 26 counts
[view:node_ad=5]Yesterday, the man the Sheriff’s Department believes to be responsible for twenty six counts including rape, other forced sexual acts, burglary and attempted murder, plead not guilty to his charges.
The plea came in a preliminary hearing according to a Los Angeles County Superior Courts representative. The next hearing is scheduled for November 27th.
Arriano was arrested after an intense investigation into three home break-ins in the Canyon Country area. Two of the incidents ended in the rape of the women who lived there, and the third would have, but the victim screamed and fought off the suspect.
Deputies got a crack in the case when they were able to arrest Arriano when responding to a Newhall burglary. According to Sheriff’s officials, evidence exists linking the first two burglaries to the same individual, and all four burglaries had distinctly similar methods.
