One boy who will never forget his birthdate and time is newborn Alexander David Hockaday Ruiz, who made a splash at exactly 11:11 a.m. on 11/11/11.

The 9-pound, 4-ounce, 21-inch baby boy and his parents even entertained visitors at a press conference at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.

Alexander, the fifth child of Angela Hockaday, was born in Room 1111 in Holy Cross Hospital’s new Women’s Pavilion. Along with the rest of the Ruiz family, Dr. Farid Yasharpour, who delivered Alexander, and labor and delivery nurses also took part in the conference.
