Baugher made an unsafe turning movement, traveled off the designated trail, and was unable to maintain control of the vehicle due to rough terrain, resulting with him being ejected from the vehicle, according to the news release.

Due to injuries, Baugher was airlifted by the Los Angeles County Fire Department to Henry Mayo Medical Center.
