Officials Identify Body In Canyon Country

Coroner’s Department officials identified Sunday the body of a woman who was found in a car in Canyon Country on Friday.

Barbara Poe, 46, of Canyon Country, was found dead in a car that was running, according to officials.  

“It looks like a natural death, so we can’t tell until they do the examination,” said Lt. Cheryl  MacWillie of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Department.

No cause of death has been released, as officials are awaiting an autopsy, according to Lt. Cheryl MacWillie of the Coroner’s Department.
