Two suspects still being sought, man with gun under arrest.
One suspect was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of armed robbery of a couple in the Bridgeport area and possibly two others are still at large.
Matthew Booth, 18, of Saugus and two others allegedly approached the couple around 10:15 p.m. as they were walking, demanding their money.
The couple initially refused, but then saw that Booth had a gun and gave up their cash, losing approximately $500.
According to Lt. Mark Hershey of the Santa Clarita Station, one of the victims was able to identify the suspects and gave deputies a description of the getaway car.
Deputies responding to a loud party call in the Sand Canyon area a few hours later spotted Booth and pulled over the car in which he was riding.
He was arrested and booked at the Santa Clarita Station on suspicion of armed robbery. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail and is due in court on Tuesday.
