Now they want to help local companies understand what it means to do business with the district and how to get involved.
District staff are holding a Vendor Outreach Program on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hart District Office on Centre Pointe Parkway. SCV business owners and managers interested in partnering with the Hart School District are invited to attend the informative event.
During the program, attendees will have the opportunity to meet district directors of purchasing, facilities, technology, transportation and maintenance and operation, along with Superintendent Rob Challinor and Chief Operations Officer Ben Rodriguez.
The district is in the process of streamlining and updating its purchasing department web pages and will explain how to register as a vendor, discover bids online and submit proposals.
Staff will share what is on the near horizon for the district in construction, modernization and commodity purchases.
