Sylmar/North San Fernando Valley – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lanes of the Golden State Freeway (I-5), as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:
OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16 THROUGH THURSDAY,
NOVEMBER 17:
- 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. – One to three lanes of southbound I-5 from State Route 14 to Roxford Street
- 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. – ALL LANES of southbound I-5 from State Route 14 to Roxford Street
- 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. – One to three lanes of southbound I-5 from State Route 14 to Roxford Street
Signs and detours will be posted to assist motorists.
