Motorists who use the Interstate 5 corridor through Castaic are advised to watch for overnight freeway lane closures near Hasley Canyon Road beginning this Friday, November 4, through Thursday, November 10, 2011, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
The Los Angeles County Public Works Department said the lane closures will affect both the northbound and southbound sides of the freeway and will also include periodic closures of the Hasley Canyon Road on and off ramps. Motorists needing to access Hasley Canyon Road can do so via The Old Road.

The Department said the lane closures are necessary to enable the installation of vehicle sensors in the freeway surface. The work is part of the continuing I-5/Hasley Canyon Road Interchange Project.
