An 18-year-old woman was arrested last week for battery on a peace officer after she injured a deputy when detained for trespassing. Domestic Violence Cases Rank Highest Among Santa Clarita Weekend Crimes

Over the weekend, domestic violence cases saw a spike in Santa Clarita, with four individuals out of 16 total arrests.  Only one of the arrestees for domestic violence was arrested with felony charges, while the other three were hit with misdemeanor charges.
