Antonovich asks for assessors office to settlecontroversy.
An investigationordered by Supervisor Mike Antonovich clarified the question ofownership in the controversial Las Lomas Project proposed for thehillsides near the 5-14 interchange.

Van Nuys residentFred McHaddad contacted the supervisor, telling him that he was thelegal owner of nearly half of the parcels being considered for thedevelopment, not developer Dan Palmer.
A report from theLA County Assessors office presented to Antonovich this week statesthat six of the twelve parcels of land claimed by Las LomasProperties are actually owned by McHaddad, despite options claimedby the developer.
