Weather delays parts arrival for building completion.
The Santa Clarita Winter Shelter opened Thursday night, giving 14 individuals and a family of four a safe, warm place to stay, but the complete opening is still a few days away.
[view:node_ad=5]According to shelter manager Tim Davis, the dining hall and men’s dormitory may open Monday if parts arrive and final improvements are completed by contractors.
