A Pasadena man
died Friday night on the Golden State Freeway when he lost control of his car.
According to CHP Officer Michelle Esposito, Felipe Cisneros
Arroyo, 58, was driving a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer northbound on the I-5
approaching Weldon Canyon when, for an unknown reason, he lost control of the vehicle and veered across
four lanes of traffic and hit the dirt and brush embankment.
After hitting the embankment, the SUV rolled over several
times. Cisneros Arroyo suffered major head trauma and succumbed to his injuries
at the scene. Esposito said that he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the
accident.
