Shooting of the seventh installment in the “Fast & Furious” series started in September. Universal Pictures hasn’t made a statement on how the film will be completed without additional work from Walker, which had been scheduled for Dec. 2 in Atlanta. Universal suspended shooting after the crash.

Diesel also released a photograph (below) that he described as “the last scene we filmed together.”

“There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared … in the film we were now completing … the magic captured … and, in just how far we’ve come,” Diesel wrote.
