Big, fat, greasy congrats to SCVTV “House Blend” stars The Delgado Brothers, the veteran blues band from East L.A., who last week won America’s “Best Blues Band” honors at the International Blues Competition in Memphis.

Lead guitarist Joey Delgado also picked up the “Best Band Guitarist” award.

The Delgados out-performed dozens of bands from all over the world, so it’s a very big deal in the world of blues.

The band’s prize package includes eight days of sessions at the historic Ardent Studios in Memphis to work on their next album, along with bookings at major upcoming blues festivals, and a nice check for $3,000.
