Photos: Library Expansion And Applied Technology Facility At COC Campuses

11_16_WallCoc_WD__0067College of the Canyons moved forward with two expansion projects on Tuesday. At 8:30 a.m., officials unveiled its new 6,000 square foot Applied Technology building on the Canyon Country campus. The facility will include four classrooms, a computer lab and instructors offices as well as provide a permanent home for the college’s auto tech program and green construction programs.

That event was followed by a groundbreaking ceremony for the planned 51,000 square foot, $16 million library expansion at the Valencia campus at 2:30 p.m. The expansion will add a new Computer Commons area with 100 workstations, a Special Collections display and a storage area for rotating shows of student and community art.
