Pico Canyon Fire Burns Several Acres

The fire has been knocked down and is 60 percent contained.

The Oak Incident fire has just grown into a second alarm fire, as fire officials report it has crested the hill at Pico Canyon and is heading toward Clark Street in Stevenson Ranch.

Approximately 10 acres have burned.

At approximately 2:20 p.m. a fire broke out on Pico Canyon Road near Southern Oaks Drive in the Santa Clarita Valley.

 

The fire, which was ignited by a car fire on Pico Canyon Road near Whispering Oaks Drive, is currently running uphill.
