A popular restaurant was robbed close to closing time Sunday morning, with the lone gunman getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Chi-Chis Pizza on Sierra Highway was about to close shortly before 1 a.m. when a man walked in, flashed a gun and demanded money from the cashier. No one was hurt in the exchange and the man left and fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male black in his 20s. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station at 661-255-1121.
