Fire At Placerita Junior High School Destroys Structure

During a fire at Placerita Junior High School early Tuesday morning, flames in a one-story building overtook one of the school’s structures.

Fire officials were dispatched at approximately 1:02 a.m. for a commercial building fire, Marvin Lim, Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson, said.

Officials arrived at Placerita Junior High at 1:09 a.m., where a one-story building was engulfed in fire.

Lim said the fire was knocked down by 1:12 a.m. and the scene was cleared by just after 2:30 a.m.
