The Play It Again Sports on McBean Parkway in Valencia will officially go out of business by the end of the year.  

A collection of more than 400 franchises in the United States and Canada, Play It Again Sports sells new and used sports equipment.

The franchise has operated in the Santa Clarita Valley for 17 years, first at its location on Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus before moving to Valencia.  

According to the store’s manager, the decision to shut down was purely the owner’s.  

The store had been up for sale for four years, with no takers.
