California Insurance Commissioner and 2010 gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner will speak at the general meeting of the Santa Clarita Republican Women Federated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20.

The meeting will be held at the International House of Pancakes, 24737 Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch. Cost is $12 for club members and $13 for non-members and includes lunch.

The Santa Clarita Republican Women Federated, established in 1951 is a diverse group of Republican women who come together to take political action.  Members are from every age range and every walk of life from stay-at-home moms to college students, business professionals to retirees. The club’s main focus is voter registration and education.  Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Stevenson Ranch IHOP and feature informative speakers on current events effecting the community, state and nation.
