Additionally, anyone in the United States will be able to find their polling place and book a ride to go vote with just a few taps on their phone within the Uber app, according to Uber officials.

In California, polls open as early as 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., but if you are waiting in line to vote at 8 p.m. when polls close, you are legally still allowed to vote, according to officials.

Once the polls close, residents can check the KHTS FM-98.1 & AM-1220 Facebook page for photos from local candidates’ election night parties and continued coverage of election results throughout the night.

In the latest report issued by the California Secretary of State’s office, as of Sept. 7 there were over 6.2 million people registered to vote in Los Angeles County. That number is sure to increase after the total number of people who registered before the Oct. 22 deadline are added to the total.

California voters will be deciding on the following federal races:

  • 1 U.S. Senator
  • 53 U.S. House of Representatives members

And in state contests:

  • Governor of California
  • Lt. Governor of California
  • 20 California State Senators
  • 80 California State Assembly members
  • 11 Propositions

In addition to these contests, there are a number of other Sacramento and county positions that voters will need to decide on.

And in Santa Clarita particularly, there are a number of local school board member and City Council seats that local residents will be asked to decide on.
