A candidate for Los Angeles County Supervisor has received the endorsement of Assemblyman Scott Wilk.

Mitchell Englander announced on Wednesday, Jan. 27,  that his campaign has received the endorsement of the Assembly member.

A widely respected Republican leader, Assemblymember Scott Wilk represents key portions in the northern part of the 5th District.  His endorsement gives Englander a significant advantage and new boost of momentum in key communities such as Santa Clarita, which will play a central role in deciding the outcome of this race.

“I enthusiastically endorse Mitchell Englander for County Supervisor. The Board of Supervisors needs new and strong leadership,” Wilk said.  “Mitch is the candidate with a proven record on increasing public safety, supporting local business and delivering services for the people who live and work in his district.   Mitch will provide a strong voice for Santa Clarita and all communities throughout the 5th District.”

Englander accepted the nomination enthusiastically.
